A bucket of water or a fire extinguisher?
For deep-fried turkey you definitely need something much bigger than a bucket of water.
A bucket of water is not enough and it’s easily the wrong type of extinguishment method you need. Because of the nature and the dangers of frying a turkey you should definitely have a fire extinguisher ready.
Don’t forget to check your fire extinguishers to see if they are expired. The gauge on the fire extinguisher should read in the green it should not be under charged or overcharged. It should be just right.
Having a fire extinguisher ready to go is a great example of how you could be prepared. That goes for turkeys and disasters!
