1. Do you really own/wear SnapChat Spectacles? Yes, just depending on the event.
2. Who do you work with at FEMA? External Affairs Cadre out of HQ in Washington DC.
3. Do you really dance on chairs during class? Yep.
4. All the time? It happens fairly often.
5. Since you talk about Emergency Support Functions (ESFs), what is your favorite ESF? Hands down, ESF-15.

Kasich Orders Flags Flown at Half-Staff in Honor of the Lives Lost in Kirkersville
COLUMBUS – Today Governor John R. Kasich ordered that all flags be flown at half-staff upon all public buildings and grounds throughout Licking County and at the Ohio Statehouse effective immediately through sunset on May 16, 2017, in honor of the lives lost in the senseless acts of violence perpetrated today in Kirkersville, Ohio.
Kasich’s order reads: “In honor of the lives lost in the senseless acts of violence perpetrated on May 12, 2017 in Kirkersville, Ohio, I hereby proclaim, by the authority vested in me as Governor of the State of Ohio by the Ohio Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, that the flags of the United States of America and the State of Ohio shall be flown at half-staff upon all public buildings and grounds throughout Licking County and at the Ohio Statehouse effective immediately through sunset on May 16, 2017.”

Hump day was a fun day spending time teaching my most favorite course – PER-344: Social Media Tools & Techniques!

Lots to discuss including augmented reality and real-time actionable information for SA/COP.

Listen closely to so called “experts” – many of them talk noise. Anyone can look and analyze noise. The real social media pros can distill social media information into actionable information for tactical operations.
Lots of attention needs to be allocated to equipment and how it’s been unsuccessfully AND successfully used in the field.
And yes of course a special shout out to weird gadets like FPV wearable tech in class too. #Spectacles
