Kicking off the week strong with a State of Ohio Emergency Management Agency (OEMA) ICS-300 class at the Cuyahoga County Board of Heath.
One of our smaller classes, this particular class has a fairly diverse participant background including a few out-of-state folks too.I’ve known Doug and Jay for years. In fact, Jay used to fly on MedEvac! Small world huh.
Incidentally, Jay said I inspired him to do more Emergency Management teaching. I am humbled by the compliment. Trust me, I’m super excited for Jay.
Numerous agencies shared great ideas and thought about solutions outside the box that could be useful to some public safety agencies before and during a disaster.
Since we were at the county health department, I was able to catch up to Rebecca – one of my former colleagues on the UASI Committee I used to co-chair.
Likely, with the upcoming events, will be spending a lot more time together in the Joint Information Center (JIC).
Let’s get exited peeps!
