Lots to see and do esp w/ the lack of social media and the huge increase in EAS Alerts for public warning.
Also had a visit from the Governor of Columbia aka Maryland’s EM PIO Ed McDonough.
Great to see that partnership between local, county, and state agencies all working toward a Federal Declaration.
Quick visit from the USFA Administrator…
…and no, the pressers didn’t stop. We used this as a teaching moment. Just because a disaster is ongoing, life does not stop for VIP visits!
