Sneak peek of some video action

The fun never stops.
Reporting live from…
Pretty sure lots of people were waiting for this trailer to pop tonight…
May the force be with you.
I know.
Not going to lie, I love participating in national preparedness events with everyone.

No kidding, our entire class participated.

My California peeps love preparedness!

Everyone!

Even though we are in the EOC, our participants know the importance of preparedness training.

Preparing for the #CAEq – #ShakeOut

Bonus points for the #ShakeOut selfie too!

Also so excited to see that DHS/FEMA’s Ready.Gov Program sharing our messages on social media.
Woot-Woot!!!!
Thanks to everyone in today’s class at the Santa Clara County (CA) Emergency Operations Center!
Amazing tech stuff happening from the teams at Intel.
Thanks to Rick, I was able to stop by and chat about a few new programs.
I love talking about the possibilities by utilizing 3D recognition. So many uses including medical, USAR, thermal signature, and mapping. They are even looking to drone tech…LOVE IT!!
Looking forward to the big tech announcements upcoming.
Many mahalos to Rick and all the teams at Intel.
Congrats to my old friend Tim O’Toole – the new Disaster Program Officer for the Northeast Ohio Red Cross!
Tim just retired out of the Cleveland Fire Department as an Assistant Fire Chief…
…and yes, Tim and I wore white helmets together.

We worked several large incidents and events for Fire/EMS as well as Emergency Management. Tim is an incredible resource for NE Ohio. I am so glad to see that he will continue to serve the area for the American Red Cross.
I had a great time this weekend hanging with the crews from Andover Fire.
Special thanks to Alicen and Chief Robbie Vickery for the invite.
Also, glad to finally meet Charleston Fire (WV) Firefighter Ryan Pennington – most famous by his Hoarders House classes #JumpseatNation .
Ryan has a different perspective on fire and technology – all kinds of stuff you should hear.
Glad to see the lads from Rome Fire too. Too bad no Fred.
I know I know – it’s the weekend. But more training never hurt anyone.
Train like you fight peeps!
