NDPTC Class went pretty well yesterday.

Great leadership at Illinois State University’s Emergency Management program.

Glad to have solid instructors with me.

…and great participation from so many public safety professionals.

Just glad to be part of something big.
I had a great day bringing the newest FEMA/NDPTC Social Media course to Illinois State University yesterday.
Reporting live from the Illinois State University campus…
My two favorite quotes from last night’s State of the Union:
“The United States of America is the most powerful nation on Earth. Period. It’s not even close. It’s not even close. It’s not even close. It’s not even close.”
and
“That’s the America I know. That’s the country we love. Clear-eyed. Big-hearted. Undaunted by challenge.”

It’s Monday morning. 0934 EST (1334Z).
And I’m in a meeting like….
Good thing I’m wearing my vest today.
Is it Friday yet?
Lots of flooding occurring in various parts of Ohio (and in the Midwest too).
Warmer than usual temperatures might be the cause. Although it’s nice to be outside in warmer temps in January, I still encourage the general public to heed the warnings from your local safety officials.

It might seem fun, but this is NOT a good idea.
Common sense please!
While I’m flattered…
Yikes.

Nice parking…C’mon man!
Me? News? Interview?

Can I please get you a reflective vest or a blinking hat?
Good thing I have my Aloha shirt on.
