I am saddened by the horrific shooting at the US Naval Yard in Washington DC. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone impacted by this senseless tragedy, especially the families and loved ones of those killed and injured. As public safety professionals continue to respond to this tragic event, I hope that justice will be served and the threat mitigated.
