“Twitter for 10,000 characters” Alex.
Nope – looks like Twitter will be keeping it’s 140-character limit tweet.
In a Good Morning interview on 03-18-16 with Twitter’s CEO Jack Dorsey (@jack) said “Absolutely not” to the 10,000 character twitter postings – whew. Here’s the link to the video.
Thanks @Jack – Ain’t nobody got time for 10,000 characters.

After a busy November, let’s continue the push hard into December please!
This Wednesday, I’ll be headed to Michigan to teach with FEMA Region-5 on continuity.
Upon the return to Ohio, I’ll make the quick turnaround and head down to southern Ohio/West Virginia to teach ICS-300. A double serving of Region-5 and Region-3.
Then head to Fulton County, Ohio (Toledo area) to teach a Basic PIO course with my favorite PIOs in the biz. Back in Region-5 baby!
The Oregon trip was canceled so No Region-10 for me. Boooooooooooooooo. But ongoing through December, I have two priority special projects for R9 and R5 that need to close too. So no futzing around!
December summary: Yes on 5, 3, and 9…but no on 10.
I’m just hoping to spend some family time sometime. Happy holidays everyone!
No matter how much they beg, minimize the amount of time your pets spend outside in severe winter weather #OHWX #Preparedness2014

This service operates 24 hours a day.
@rusnivek
NEVER use your oven as a source of heat during the severe winter weather.
If you do not have heat, contact your local Red Cross chapter for a list of open warming stations/shelters.
Be smart and be safe!
@rusnivek
Monitor/limit the amount of time kids spend outside in severe weather.
I know they think it’s fun, but do NOT let them play for hours in the cold.
Bundle up!
Do you know the differences between frostbite and hypothermia?
Frostbite: loss of feeling and white or pale appearance in extremities such as fingers, toes, ear lobes, and the tip of the nose. Get medical help immediately.
Hypothermia: uncontrollable shivering, memory loss, disorientation, incoherence, slurred speech, drowsiness, and apparent exhaustion. If symptoms of hypothermia are detected, get the victim to a warm location, remove wet clothing, warm the center of the body first and give warm, non-alcoholic beverages if the victim is conscious. Get medical help as soon as possible.
