A cool new EOC / hangout

Had a great time in Florida teaching various state Public Information Officers (PIOs).

I also found a cool new EOC/hangout too.

Maybe it’s the new typing and classification for EOCs.

Now heading to Sandusky to teach Incident Command.

Glad to be back in Region-5.

Teaching in Florida today and tomorrow…

Teaching two classes on Social Media/Public Information Officer stuff today and tomorrow at the Florida Emergency Preparedness Association (FEPA) conference in beautiful Daytona Beach.

FEPA was created in 1957 to help professional Emergency Managers work to protect the people of Florida. I’m sure glad to see SO many different types of EM professionals from various backgrounds and different organizations.

Flying in February and definitely heading to…

February doesn’t look all that nice. Bitter cold weather here in Region-5.

Well, except for that quick stint at the upcoming FEPA conference in Florida.

This month’s activities include work in FEMA Region-9, Region-3, and of course Region-5

Just happy to spend a quick week in central Florida region.

Additionally, the central Florida region emergency management professionals are doing a solid job working together with their approach in all-hazards prevention, response, and recovery.
