Here’s my second observation with SnapChat’s #Spectacles
Duh right?!?!
Additionally, I am sure you are downloading your content in HD so that drains the battery even more because you are transferring it over bluetooth.

Sucking it dry…with social media.
More tomorrow peeps.
Here’s my first observation with SnapChat’s #Spectacles
They are big. Here’s a comparison from my Spectacles vs an ordinary pair of Oakley Holbrook sunglasses.

Obv featuring an Engine and a Squad.
Yeah yeah, I know they are now called Snap, but I believe if you reference “Snap” this is what most everyone thinks.
More tomorrow peeps.
Media considerations: Press amenities.
Aside from giving the media the juicy story they crave…we should do a better job in considering their needs during a disaster.
However, in this day/age of media involvement and constant interaction, it would behoove us PIOs to better meet the needs of our partners (that’s right, I said partners) in safety.
For prolonged incidents, it would be nice if your agency:
Since we are breaking down barriers, we need to explore a few options to support our partners in safety. Look at this setup…
…no seriously, look closer.
What do you see?
Build your relationships before a disaster and strengthen them as you continue to train exercise your skills. Partners in safety.
Let’s work together to better our response and enhance communications skills with just some basic needs for the press. Trust me, a little goes along way.
After all, the old adage goes: you can attract more friends with honey than vinegar…right?

Do you know the differences between Heat stroke vs Heat Exhaustion vs Heat Cramps?
Heat stroke (also referred to as “Sun Stroke”): degrades the body’s temperature control system, which regulates perspiration. A victim experiencing heat stroke can suffer brain damage or death if they do not receive proper medical care.
Heat Exhaustion: typically occurs when people overexert themselves in hot, humid weather conditions. Heat exhaustion causes an increase in blood flow to the skin, resulting in a deprivation of blood in the vital organs. If untreated, heat exhaustion may cause a victim to suffer heat stroke.
Heat Cramps: are muscular pains and spasms due to heavy exertion. Although heat cramps are non-life threatening, they are often a precursor to more serious heat-related health concerns.
